Consists chiefly of newspaper clippings concerning the personal lives and athletic careers of two famous El Paso, Texas athletes: Clifford Leroy Hill, a left-handed baseball pitcher who made his mark in the Texas League; and Margaret Varner Bloss, holder of the United States and All-England badminton titles. Both athletes were inducted into the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in 1956. Materials consist of a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence. Other loose materials include encapsulated newspaper clippings and a cartoon poster from the Dallas Journal featuring Hill.
